Introduction
The mandate of
the Center for Creative Youth International was delivered first as a passion
that culminated in the establishment of a campus fellowship on the campus of
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi in April 2000.
The Holy Spirit
quickened my mind while going through a gospel magazine and on the 14ht of
August 2002, I received this mandate, “The
continent of Africa is set to experience a socio-spiritual revolution that
would culminate in the economic, political, technological and spiritual transformation,
a new breed of youths, leaders and entrepreneurs, the world has never seen
before would soon emerge via the creative seed planted in you.”
On January 2005,
the Center for Creative youth international was inaugurated with a seminar
tagged “Rise to a new level”. With the help of God and through diverse
trainings, seminars and mentorship, various youths have drawn virtues from this
great vision.
The body has
over the years been blessed with inspiring personalities that have identified
with the vision at certain times. Some of such personalities include, professor Aize Obayan (Vice Chancellor
Covenant University), Pastor Tola Olukilede (Heal the world ministry inc,),
Pastor Dapo Wahab (Fountain of Life Church), Pastor Kaycee Abraham (RCCG Faith
Connection), Pastor Yemi Nathaniel (Winners Chapel), Pastor Seye Yinka (Visible
church), Pastor Kenny Adeleye (Access Chapel), Dcn Gbenga Richard (Winners
Chapel), Bishop Alex Nwori (His Glory int’l Church), Linus Okorie (Guardian of
the Nation International), Pastor Victor Omololu (Kings Own Church), Mr. Jacobs
Fasugba (Covenant University), Bishop Dickson Olorunda, Dcn Ademola Olopade and countless other
individuals, ministries and schools. To God alone is all the glory.
In 2011 by the
leading of the Holy Spirit, a youth renewal conference known as ACCELERATE was
conceived and the first edition held in November the same year. The same way
the Eagle locates a very high mountain for self-renewal, ACCELERATE also serves
as MOUNT HOREB. It is a place for mental and spiritual renewal for young
people. It is a one day summit loaded with lots of spirit reviving and mind
renewing messages, talks, music and prophetic declarations setting a pace for
the coming year.
On the 29th
of January 2012, after a 21days fasting and prayer season, the Holy Ghost
inspiration came and the Spiritual base of the ministry known as Palace of
Creativity Global Ministry took off. Within six months, the ministry has
started a mid-week communion services known as moment of discovery and a bible
school known as New Class of Men that runs every Saturday. We give God all the
glory.
As a youth
development organization, the Center for Creative Youth International holds an
alliance with Impact Makers Creativity Services Co,
an entrepreneurial initiative of one of colleagues but administered by the
leadership of CCYI. All Cheques are therefore written in favour of either of
the two companies.
Proceeds from
donors and kingdom investors are channeled towards completing our youth center
which is at the decking level now, packaging of youth development programmes
and reaching out to less priviledged youths in our society.
ACCELARATE 2012
Accelerate
is to us by revelation the Mount of Horeb. It is the mount of God for Mind and
Spiritual renewal for young people in Nigeria and beyond. 1Kings 19:8
Accelerate seeks to influence young
people by the word of God for Spiritual and mental renewal. This is a Christian
youth retreat that seeks to influence the Spirit, Soul and Body of youths.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people discover, develop and deploy their latent potential, leadership capacity
and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people discover who they really are in Gods grand design.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people appreciate the value of education and faith.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people build a lasting relationship with Christ, His word and the Holy Spirit.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people discover and run with vision.
Accelerate seeks to help young
people discover kingdom truths about morality, and living a lifestyle of
relevance and significance.
Accelerate also helps young people
discover what to hope for in the coming year. It sets a prophetic seal on every
participant.
PROGRAMME CONCEPT

The programme is to be hosted in
conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria Sango Area Youth wing and
the Access Chapel.

The event in 2012 seeks to go into
partnership with a broadcast station such as MITV, LTV, TVC, ONTV or OGTV.
